I. Mold Design – Defining Quality from the Source
We incorporate key elements such as mold configuration, draft angles, and machining allowances at the design stage. Using CAE mold flow analysis, we simulate molten metal flow to predict and optimize filling issues, air entrapment, and cold shuts. We also provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reports to help customers refine product structures.
II. Tool Steel – The Foundation of Quality
We offer multi-tiered steel solutions for different requirements:
Standard – H13 / SKD61: Most widely used hot work tool steel, balancing thermal fatigue resistance and toughness
High-Performance – DAC55: ~25% improvement in hot strength and thermal cracking resistance, ideal for high-volume production
Premium – 8418 / 8407: Excellent thermal shock resistance, compliant with NADCA #207 standards
Our heat treatment process features vacuum quenching with triple tempering, achieving 46-50 HRC hardness – the optimal balance between hardness and toughness.
III. Precision Machining
CNC roughing → CNC finishing → Deep hole drilling → CNC electrode machining → EDM → Wire EDM → Polishing → Grinding. End-to-end precision control ensures dimensional accuracy and surface quality of cavities and parting lines.
IV. Assembly & Tryout
Precision assembly of cores, mold base, slides, ejector pins, cooling systems, and hydraulic cylinders. Die spotting verifies parting line mating accuracy. We conduct 2-3 trial runs (T1/T2/T3) to ensure production stability and repeatability.
V. Delivery & After-Sales – A Long-Term Partnership
Warranty: 2 years or 80,000 shots (whichever comes first), covering material defects and heat treatment issues.
